The Crown Signia was recently introduced in 2025 and did not undergo any changes for 2026.
The Toyota Crown can be considered a "near luxury" car. Although it carries the traditional Toyota marque instead of a higher end badge, the Crown Signia still features equivalent if not greater levels of luxury than cars from other upscale makes. The Crown Signia competes against the Jeep Grand Cherokee, Hyundai SantaFe Hybrid, and Mazda CX-70. This hybrid model is a sporty addition to the Toyota lineup.
The Toyota Crown Signia is powered by a 2.5L 4-cylinder engine that produces 188 horsepower and 178 pound-feet of torque. With the electric motor the horsepower increases to 240 horsepower and shoots the SUV to 60 miles per hours in 7 seconds. Power is transferred via a CVT transmission. Two trims are available on the all-wheel drive Crown Signia: the XLE and the Limited. They both come loaded with features such as a rear spoiler, power liftgate, heated power folding side mirrors, LED headlights, 19-inch wheels, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, heated and cooled front seats, heated rear seats, driver seat memory, automatic dual-zone climate control, an HD satellite radio, a 12.3-inch touchscreen, voice activated navigation, adaptive cruise control, mobile hotspot, wireless device charging and connectivity, 5 USB ports, a 12.3-inch gauge cluster, and a heated leather steering wheel. The Limited trim adds a fixed glass roof, 21-inch wheels, ambient lighting, an 11-speaker sound system, panoramic fixed glass roof, rain-sensing wipers, a digital rearview mirror, and parking sensors. Standard safety features include active lane departure, blind spot warning, forward collision mitigation with left turn assist, rear collision warning, front pedestrian detection, a driver attention alert, and a traffic sign information system.
