The Lexus NX carries over with minimal changes for 2025.
The Lexus NX slots into the growing compact SUV market but offers a bit more luxury and a lot more style than any of its competitors. The Lexus NX also stands out with its available hybrid powertrain, making this the sixth hybrid Lexus in their lineup. With a short wheelbase ideal for city driving, the Lexus NX is easy to park and maneuver. However, with decent ground clearance, it has no trouble negotiating bumpy country lanes or dealing with light off-road duty during picnic trips. For drivers who want a little extra dose of excitement, the NX is available in the F SPORT trim. With unique styling features and sportier demeanor, the F SPORT looks meaner and even more serious than the standard NX.
The Lexus NX is available in four basic models, NX 250, NX 350, NX 350h and NX 450h+. The NX 250 is powered by a 2.5L, 4-cylinder engine that makes 203 horsepower. Front-wheel drive is only available on the NX 250, the rest of the lineup is only available in all-wheel drive. The NX 350 is powered by a turbocharged 2.4L, 4-cylinder engine with 275 horsepower. Power is sent to the front wheels or all four wheels via an 8-speed automatic transmission. The NX 350h is driven by a 2.5L 4-cylinder mated to a CVT transmission that outputs 189 horsepower. It is also assisted by an electric motor which brings the total horsepower to 240. At the top of the lineup sits the 450h+ that uses the same engine as the 350h but is tuned to produce 304 horsepower. The plug-in hybrid 450h+ has an all-electric range of 37 miles and a charging time of 4 hours and 30 minutes using a 240-volt level 2 charger. The NX is a Lexus in every sense of the word and comes accordingly with a nice list of standard equipment. This includes a smart key with easy access entry, push-button start, dual-zone automatic climate control, one-touch power windows, Dynamic Radar cruise control, leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob, 9.8-inch touchscreen display in the center dash, 10-speaker sound system, and Lexus' Enform Safety Connect system along with a host of advanced Lexus safety features. The Premium trim adds ventilated seats in the front, moonroof, and hands-free trunk feature. The Luxury trim adds power liftgate, auto-leveling headlamps, wood interior trim, 14-inch touchscreen, and rain sensing wipers. The F SPORT trim is, as the trim name implies, sporty! It includes adaptive variable suspension, heated leather-trimmed steering wheel, windshield wiper de-icer, and 20-inch black alloy wheels. Safety features across the NX include active lane departure system, blind spot warning system, forward collision mitigation with cross traffic alert, rear collision warning, pedestrian detection system, driver attention alert, and traffic sign information system.
