The Toyota GR Corolla gets a new trim lineup for 2024.
The 2024 Corolla continues to be the excellent value proposition that has made it a hit for more than five decades. With a low base price, the Corolla offers virtually everything a car owner realistically needs. The Corolla is far more than basic transportation these days, offering a big dose of entertainment along with a good amount of luxury should buyers want that. Despite this, even the most expensive trim level proves that value exists everywhere in the Corolla line, no matter what the details are. The 2024 GR Corolla is a worthy competitor to the Honda Civic Type R, Kia Forte GT, and Mazda 3 Turbo.
The 2024 all-wheel drive Toyota GR Corolla hatchback is offered in three trim levels, Core, Premium, and Circuit. The Toyota GR Corolla is powered by a 1.6L turbocharged 3-cylinder engine mated to a 6-speed manual transmission that produces 300 horsepower. Even the base GR Corolla is well equipped with 18-inch alloy wheels, LED headlights, daytime running lights, and front fog lights, mirrors with turn signal indicators, sport bucket front seats, an 8-inch touchscreen, adaptive cruise control, and an HD Satellite radio. The Premium adds front and rear painted calipers, a rear spoiler, heated front seats, an 8-speaker sound system, voice activated navigation with real-time traffic and weather, wireless device connectivity, and front and rear parking sensors. The Circuit sits at the top of the lineup with front and rear cross drilled brakes, forged aluminum wheels, and a heated leather wrapped sport steering wheel. Safety features include 10 airbags, active lane departure, blind spot warning, forward collision mitigation, rear collision warning, front pedestrian detection, a driver attention alert, and a traffic sign information system.
